My current obsession are podcasts. They are amazing folks.
Basically, a radio show that completely exercises ‘Freedom of Speech’. The individuals who produce these medias speak freely about whatever they want, however they want, whenever they want and I am grateful.
For those of you who are new to the podcast arena or looking to add to your current list, there are at least 3 shows you should be listening to right now. Check them out below:
1. 25 to Life
What: Taylor Robinson and her boyfriend Adam Bonefeste review episodes of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” [depending on the season] every week, helping us navigate through this crazy competition for someone’s heart, or whatever.
Why: Because it’s FVCKN funny! Taylor and Adam aren’t that obnoxious lovey, dovey couple. They are actually annoyed by a lot of the same things us single people find annoying in people that are dating. These two break down every contestant, every tear that is shed, every argument, every date, every elimination… yup they’re that thorough. One would consider these people experts on reality TV love.
Sidenote: Adam met the current ‘Bachelor’, Juan Pablo.
2. The Read
What: Kid Fury and Crissle’s weekly podcast covering hip-hop and pop culture’s most trying stars. Throwing shade and spilling tea with a flippant and humorous attitude, no star is safe from Fury and Crissle unless their name is Beyoncé. (Or Blue Ivy.)
Why: Because you need to get your damn life! I was a stan for Kid Fury from his hysterical YouTube videos, but who knew he had a female counterpart? Every week these two slay my funny bone dissecting all the buffoonery in Hollywood. They also have a portion where they answer questions from their listeners.
Sidenote: ”The Read” did a whole episode dedicated to Beyonce’s latest album…it’s over an hour long!
3. Just Killing Time With Maronzio Vance
What: Comedian/Actor Maronzio Vance cuts the mic on and spills his guts.
Why: Because you need someone to disagree with you. Every episode, Maronzio delivers a raw, fresh, honest and very passionate discussion about various topics. And be warned, his opinions tend to go against popular beliefs. You name it, he’s talking about it: race, politics, relationships, life, family, love, death, religion, food, sports, cars, sex, whores, gays, interracial dating, films, show business, television, Beyonce, hip hop, recycling, Duck Dynasty… I think you get the idea.
Sidenote: Maronzio co-stars on the FOX sitcom ‘Enlisted‘.
If you feel like there are some more shows I should be listening to tweet them to me, I’d love to listen.
