Alicia Keys Remixes Classic Reebox Sneakers
Posted by on Sep 6, 2012

AK is gunning for the top spot in music and fashion again. The soul crooner is preparing to release her latest solo effort, “Girl on Fire” in November. But before dropping the imminent classic, Keys is venturing into other profitable arenas as well.

Mrs. Swizz Beatz has inked a deal with Reebox to release edgy remixes of the Freestyle Hi, Freestyle Double Bubble, Classic Nylon Slim and Princess sneakers. Each rehash has a rebellious, but feminine edge to it that appeal to the ladies with a soft spot for the 1980s. There are sneakers emblazoned with trendy studs, piano graphics, and even artwork of the New York City skyline. Reebox and Keys are even cashing in on the New York Fashion Week tribal print craze and including the trend on sneakers.

The kicks are retailing for $80 and will be released at FootAction, Macy’s, Finish Line, and City Gear.
