Before heading out for her Mermaid Ball event in NYC, Azealia Banks tweeted a sneak peak of her outfit to her fans. Banks certainly got into the spirit of the mermaid theme of her show, where she performed to a sold out crowd.

 Las week Azealia Banks and DJ Cosmo released the Mermaid Ball Mixtape . The mixtape is 42-minute musical snapshot of what to was to be expected at Sunday’s show, the mix hypes the event itself, but more importantly, it contextualizes Miss Banks’ career as a continuation of NYC’s underground dance tradition.

Azealia Banks also announced that the Mermaid Ball event will be making it’s way to London:

“yes KUNTZ ., MERMAID BALL LONDON IS HAPPENING !! Details Soon!”.
