Finally!

Jessica Simpson has finally popped that baby out today.  She and fiance  Eric Johnson  became the proud parents of a baby girl who weighed 9 pounds 13 ounces and measured in at 21.75 inches [whoa baby!].  Jessica and Eric named their daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson [ Drew because it's Jessica's mother's maiden name]. The singer turned designer had previously said of her daughter April’s issue of Elle that she hopes that she isn’t “athletic” like her father adding “I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!”.

Jessica released a statement saying:

“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives.”
