Every evening we welcome Terrance J into our homes via the iconic show BET’s 106 & Park. For 7 seasons Terrance J has been bringing us the hottest music videos and interviews with some of the industry’s biggest names.  Now as one of the stars of the new film, Think Like A ManTerrance J is ready to make a name for himself in the world of Hollywood.  Regard Magazine caught up with the up and coming actor to talk about his new film, fashion, and booming acting career.

Check out  excerpts  from Terrance J‘s  interview with Regard Magazine:

You now have several roles from film and television on your resume. What made you want to get into that part of the business?

Acting has always been a dream of mine and I’ve been very fortunate to have the opportunity to fulfill it. 106 & PARK has been a tremendous platform for me to transition into that field and I now feel that I am in a more comfortable place to take on more film roles.

The film, Think Like a Man, is set to keep the audience laughing. What can you tell us about your role in the movie?

I play Michael who is a ‘Momma’s Boy’ and who really goes through a transition in the film when he is forced to finally realize the affect his mother’s relationship has on his personal relationships with women. The film itself draws from the male character-personalities in Steve Harvey’s book. (i.e. The Player, The Dreamer, etc.) and takes everyone watching on each of their unique journeys throughout the film. It’s a great date movie, and you will definitely learn a lot when you see it.

You look handsome and dapper in your Regard Magazine fashion spread as the Man Of Style. Who are your favorite fashion designers and must haves for your personal closet?

My favorite fashion designers are Tom Ford, Valentino, Louis Vuitton. And my personal must haves include Nike & Jordan sneakers

“Think Like A Man”  opens everywhere April 20th…
