Tamera Mowry has a baby on the way!
Tamera and husband Adam Housley announced today that they are expecting their first child. The couple said , “[We] are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends. We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!” The expectant mom and Housley, a National and International correspondent for FOX News, will welcome their first child in early November.
The news comes as a bit of a surprise to fans becasue the newlyweds made it clear that kids weren’t in their immediate future. But the couple’s stance on the subject shifted after an “amazing” trip to South Africa — and, subsequently, a huge change of heart. Tia explained, “It’s just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter. Adam and I looked at each other and said, ‘Why wait?’”
Twin sister Tia [who just gave birth to her first child Cree last June] was not at all surprised by the news, in fact she said ‘I KNEW it!’. Tamera says, “Tia is beyond thrilled. Cree now has a play date in the future!”
The Style Network had a chance to chat with Tia about her pregnancy and the excitement that goes along with it. She explained that she found out she was pregnant three months ago and told her husband by texting him pictures of two pregnancy test.
The twins are gearing up for their second season of their hit reality show Tia & Tamera, premiering June 11 on the Style Network.
Congrats Tamera. It’s fun to see her and her sister Tia literally grow up in front of our eyes.
