This evening R&B singers Brandy and Monica premiered the music video for their duet “It All Belongs To Me“, which is written and produced by Rico Love. The single will certainly be on Brandy’s upcoming album and it might even appear on Monica’s album [if she can ever get a release date] as well. The visuals for the song were directed by Chris Robinson and shot on the hills of beautiful Los Angeles, California. Just in case you are unfamiliar with the song’s the concept, the song is supposed to be a follow up to their 90′s hit “The Boy Is Mine”…lame I know. Basically, the girls are listing the things that they purchased during a relationship with a man they are now breaking up with and they want their stuff back, because ” it belongs to them”. If it sounds like you’ve heard a song like this before it’s because you have, it’s called “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce. I am a huge Brandy and Monica fan, but I’m not a fan of this particular song…looking forward to the second single.
