Despite being one of the best basketball players ever,  former Lakers star, Magic Johnson is one of the best businessmen around. He has many business ventures from 24 Hour Fitness to Starbucks to theaters and now he has revealed that he has added Soul Train to his list.

Host and creator Don Cornelius debuted Soul Train in syndication 40 years ago this month. Soul Train is known for always keeping up with the musical trends from Motown, Disco, The Sound of Philly, New Jack Swing, Jazz, Hip Hop and more. Magic Johnson [who made the purchase back in 2011] says that he plans to bring the ground breaking music show, Soul Train, back to television. [ Hmmm I wonder who will host? ]

Like most people, Soul Train has provided Magic with great memories. He even was a featured dancer on the show in the 80′s. He may be a big guy, but he’s smooth…kinda.  On his recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno broke out the footage of Magic getting his groove on. Check it out below:
