The Knowles have a lot to celebrate this year already.

In addition to the arrival of princess Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce’s little sister,  Solange Knowles, has just signed to Next Model Management. Recently more than ever, Solange has proven herself as a fashion role model for women. Her style is unique and unlike anything else we see among other celebs.  Solange made a huge splash during New York Fashion Week last year and has been full steam ahead ever since.  She is hardly a rookie when it comes to modeling as she has fronted campaigns for Rimmel, Armani Jeans and modeled for her family’s fashion label House of Deréon. Solange expressed her excitement about her new venture with Next Model Management by saying:

“Artistic expression is invaluable to me in all walks of my career and I am so excited to continue to develop this path along with such an amazing team at Next Model Management. I feel right at home working with people who have worked beside such creative forces in the world.”

But, the fashion fun doesn’t stop there for Miss Solange. Next month she will become VOGUE.com‘s new Today I’m Wearing star – following in the footsteps of Alexa Chung, Lily Aldridge and Alessandra Ambrosio.   Solange will be able to share here great sense of style with all of VOGUE.com’s readers on a daily bases. I’m sure we will see a lot of fun and colorful pieces from Solange, I can’t wait!  It’s very early in the year but it looks like 2012 is going to be the year of the Knowles-Carters.
