After revealing that she and Wiz Khalifa were working on music in August 2011, Amber Rose has announced her first single.
The track is titled “Fame” and her boo Wiz Khalifa is featured on the track. Amber Rose will premier her song exlusively on PerezHilton.com, on Tuesday, January 10th at 9 a.m. EST.
“I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY! Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support.
This is a very personal song to me that I wanted to record for my fans. I want people to see the world from my eyes, you know, from BEHIND MY SHADES! It’s my interpretation of what it means to be “FAMOUS,” which is not something superficial but instead being self-confident and happy with who you are.
You can feel famous everyday if you believe in yourself!”
I have a feeling everyone [even Kanye] will be anxious to hear this track. I honestly think it will be good, because she and Wiz know that everyone wants her to fail. She would have to be crazy to put some bullsh*t out. The best comparison to Amber that I can use right now is when Paris Hilton came out with her first single “Stars Are Blind” . Sure as a whole her album sucked, but her single “Stars Are Blind” was actually [unexpectedly] good.
Only time will tell, and I look forward to January 10th.
