Kanye West & Adele Lead The Way For Most 2012 Grammy Nominations
Posted by on Dec 1, 2011

Kanye West leads all Grammy nominations with an impressive 7 nominations. His song “All of the Lights” is up for song of the year and his album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” is up for rap album of the year.  I doubt anyone, especially Kanye, is surprised by his Grammy nominations and the success of his album as a whole. As arrogant, cocky, and sometimes over ambitious Kanye may seem, it is never in vain.

Adele is right behind Yeezy with a sensational 6 nominations.  Not only is her song “Rolling In The Deep” up for song of year, but it’s also up for record of year.  As if that wasn’t enough she is also in the running for the top honor of album of the year for her album “21“.  There is no reason why Adele shouldn’t walk away with at the very least half of the awards she nominated for. “21″ has had an amazing year delivering hit after hit for Adele,  that have managed to not just top the charts but to stay there for weeks on end.

Bruno Mars also racked up 6 nominations and he too is up for album of the year with “Doo-Wops & Hooligans“.
