For Better or Worse, Tyler Perry’s newest sitcom, is centered around the popular dysfunctional characters from Why Did I Get Married and Why Did I Get Married Too, Marcus and Angela [played by Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith]. Keeping in line with their original story line from the films, the character Marcus is an ex-footballer player who is now working as a sports commentator and Angel is a successful hair dresser. Both are hard working individuals that seem to have to work even harder to keep their marriage intact. The show will examine the couple’s struggle with jealousy, trust, deceit and more.  Marcus and Angela expectantly have some controversial moments, but we get to see the joyous moments as well. We will also get a chance to see who Marcus and Angela’s friends are and what advice [be it good or bad] they give to the couple.  It will be very clear to the show’s viewers that Marcus and Angela are a passionate couple that love as hard as they fight.

True this show seems to have some Waiting to Exhale moments, but Tyler Perry promises that the viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sitcom format that will provide all the elements of well-crafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV.  For Better or Worse will be premiering TBS on November 23, 2011.
