Tika Simone. Tika Paprika. Teacup Simone. Whichever name you know her by one thing is for sure, she’s the fastest rising, hardest working female on the Toronto entertainment scene, and with as many pseudonyms as Diddy – and simultaneous projects, it’s easy to understand why.

Simone, a  multi-talented performer, promoter and media personality has an enviable way of making sure she gets her message across to the masses. Whether it was her role as a recurring personality on Canada’s MTV Network, or her “team player” ability to share the spotlight with other tremendously talented emerging artists on any stage, Simone  has built her brand in a  very simple way; just being personable. But having a welcoming personality is just one of numerous characteristics that has kept Simone’s name buzzing throughout the industry and in the streets. As an actress, Simone spent several weeks this summer performing in Toronto and New York City in the critically acclaimed and highly successful theatre production of  “Da Kink In My Hair”. As a musician, Simone recently released her first single aptly titled “Do It When The Rest Won’t”, as a promoter, she’s had a very successful monthly event series running since 2009 called “Tika Simone Presents: Intimate and Interactive” which showcases Canadian musical and comedic talent. Simone  is now spinning off “I&I” into a new series for artists with less visibility but incredible potential for stardom called “The Known Unknown” which kicks off in Toronto this Sunday October 2^nd. And that’s just the beginning…!!!
