T.I. Will Not Be Leaving Prison Tomorrow
Posted by on Aug 30, 2011

Looks like T.I. will be doing a little more time before returning home to Tiny.

Despite the rumors circulating the internet, Clifford Joseph Harris Jr, otherwise known as T.I., will remain at Forrest City Federal Prison in Arkansas until September 29th according to his lawyer, Jonathan Leonard. T.I. began an 11-month sentence last November for a probation violation stemming from a 2009 conviction on federal gun charges. According to Leonard, even though September 29th is T.I’s set release date , “The Bureau of Prisons they won’t give you the information [of his release] until the very last minute,” Leonard told XXL.

It will be interesting to see if T.I. will be able to stay out of  jail long enough to put out  a great album, and even go on tour. He has a lot of obstacles to overcome and a lot of  work ahead of him to make-up for lost time.  Everyone is rooting for this man, and the public loves a good come back story, however how long can you keep supporting someone that keeps making the same mistakes. One thing is for sure, the fans are anxiously awaiting the return of the King of the South and it is evident the rap game needs an artist like T.I.

I’ll probably have to eat my words later for saying this, but I really believe T.I. has learned his lesson and is ready to be a great artist, dedicated husband, and loving father.

UPDATE: T.I. was released from prison in Arkansas this morning [8/31/] at 7:29 a.m.
