R&B songstress Monica takes a stunning photo for the cover of Hype Hair December issue. Chatting with her a few months ago, she told me that she loves to change up her hair a lot. She enjoys trying out new colors, styles and wearing short and long tresses! In their hypnotic interview they talk about their collaboration, new projects, their thoughts on marijuana legalization, and talked openly about how they inspired each other. You guys don’t hide your love for marijuana. What are your thoughts on the potential legalization of marijuana?
Snoop: We want it to be legal because it does a lot of good for people. It helps in different medical situations. Drugs such as alcohol and tobacco kill more people annually than marijuana has killed in 20 years. If we can legalize it, tax it, and sell it out of the front door instead of the back door, we could probably eliminate some of the problems that we’re having in America.

There has to be a mutual respect to bring both of the camps together. How are you guys inspired by each other?

Wiz Khalifa: Snoop’s work ethic. He continues to always work. People always talk about rap legends and give them accolades. Snoop is still going and he’s the only artists still going hard. He keeps it like that. No one is making it happen for him or telling him to do that. It’s him doing that and staying consistent.
Snoop: I’m inspired by Wiz’s spirit. He makes everyone feel as if they are a part of his situation. He has the right mind to lead. He leads with precision. To know that you’re a leader, you have to give them something to follow. He takes his time with what he does. He had my entire house in love with him. My family was excited that we were working together from day one.

I’m not a coffee drinker but that doesn’t mean anything because now high-end shoe designer Jimmy Choo is cashing in on the latest craze! Next time you’re out and about and drinking that espresso from Starbucks, you can do it in style with their designer coffee sleeves. What will they think of next? lol. Throw away those ugly cardboard sleeves and get hip with the times with these chic sleeves that will run yah $125. How fab does Tasha Smith look on the cover of BE Magazine! She looks very radiant and full of smiles as she covers their Winter print issue. In the Atlanta based magazine she discusses her love for her hubby, meeting and working with Tyler Perry and unveiling some of her fav blogs, I wonder if she mention muah? You guys already know that she is starring in the hit tv show “For Better or Worse on TBS on Fridays. You can pick up a copy of BE Magazine’s 2011 issue out on Christmas week if you live in Atlanta!

Hey congrats goes out to Chanel Iman who just turned 21 a few days ago! She also was spotted in NYC to unveil the new million dollar bottle of DKNY’s Golden Delicious perfume! The apple shaped bottle is adorned with a one of a kind edition 14karat yellow and white gold scent with 183 yellow sapphires, 2700 white diamonds and a 2.43 carat yellow canary diamonds. She looked great as she made her appearance on the gold carpet carrying a top secret bullet and fire proof briefcase with bodyguards in tow, how fun!

She wore a fitted mini gold dress underneath a black tuxedo jacket and fab shoes! The encrusted blinged out bottle is the latest creation of DKNY and I have already sent out my request to review this fragrance which would be a great gift for the holidays! Enjoy the pis and Happy Tuesday!

Disney’s Dreamers Academy Media Luncheon with special guest actor/comedian/radio personality, Steve Harvey was held at Bones restaurant in Buckhead on Friday, Dec.2 and it was a fab affair.  Atlanta-area students past and present, who participated in Disney’s Dreamers Academy attened with their parents to share fun and heart warming stories of their experience. Most said it was a true blessing to be a part of the academy, and some even shed a tear telling their stories. Mickey Mouse,the biggest celebrity of the afternoon made a surprise appearance. He came to greet the special guests, dressed to the nines and ready for photo opts. A Disney executive explained that the industry icon chose Atlanta to host the luncheon because of the large number of Dreamers Academy participants in the area.

Wow, how exciting that Mattel has joined forces with Nicki Minaj to create a Barbie! The doll will feature bubble gum pink hair,matching fabulous boots, sparkly Barbie necklace and a poofy white dress to be auctioned off via Charity Buzz. This is to benefit the Project Angel Food organization which provides food for men,women and kids affected by HIV/AIDS. The Charity Buzz auction kicks off Dec 19th! The starting bid is $1,000. I’m too excited about this because I’m a Barbie Collector, so cute!

Reality star and model Cynthia Bailey gets all dressed up with a pinup flair for Kontrol Magazine’s Labels issue. This is how I like to see her, all dressed up with no where to go lol. She is styled in Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, BeBe, and a cute Jesse Steele apron. The updo(styled by Gail Huddon) and makeup job(Maleena James) is too adorable. The shoot was done at Cynthia’s house in Atlanta shot by Allen Cooley. Great job, werk girlie!

I love Akon, such a nice gentleman! He did a recent photoshoot with Kontrol Magazine for the Label issue. I love me a chocolate drop and Akon know he is fine! Julian Lark styled him in Versace,Dior, True Religion and his own label Aliaune. I’ve been to Akon’s mansion for Devaughn Stephens birthday party back in the summer. Lil Wayne and his princess Reginae Carter cover this weeks Rolling Out. When I was at Reginae’s birthday party, it brought tears to my eyes to see them two together. They share a special bond. I never knew my dad and it bothers me till this day. I always wanted to know what he looked like, did I walk like him, get his sense of humor or more. Sadly, I don’t think I will never meet him.
