Rapper Chief Keef is headed to jail.
Chief Keef (whose real name is Keith Cozart) surrendered himself to Cook County authorities today (Oct. 15) after testing positive for marijuana. He was sentenced to serve 20 days in jail.
The rapper was mandated to undergo random drug testing as part of his probation, originating from a speeding ticket he received in May while in Chicago. At the time, officers caught him going 110mph in a 55mph zone.
The rapper pled guilty to the ticket, but slipped up when it came to the “not using any drugs” part.
Before entering the court house, Keef posted the picture above to his Instagram account with an interesting caption. It read: “Outside The Court House Turnin My Self In But F*** It I Got N****s Facin More Then That ! For Sh*t Like killin Police officers.”
Talk about going out with a bang.
Experts are saying that Keef will not serve the full 20 days, due to overcrowding in the jail system.
