Lady Gaga is a devoted friend.

The “Born This Way” singer posted a photo to LittleMonsters.com (a website devoted to her fans) of  her new hairdo- a ‘do inspired by her friend Terry Richardson.

Richardson, a famed photographer, lost his mother recently and Gaga decided to pay homage to both Richardson and his mom by shaving the back of her head.

Alongside the photos, was a heartfelt caption by Gaga. The caption on the photo read:

“I did it for u Terry. “I’m sorry about ure mommy. She has princess die, but were all princess high.”

But that’s not all.

Gaga took things a step further and got a tattoo in the same area where she shaved her head. The tattoo (shown below) looks to be of an angel with wings and a crown. One can only guess that since Gaga shaved her head to support Richardson, who has a similar hairstyle, that thins tattoo symbolizes his mother in some way.
