NAACP IMAGE AWARD

The NAACP Image Awards are just around the corner!

The nominees for the 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards was announced earlier today. The list is filled with some obvious nominees and a few surprises as well.

The Help leads the pack with 8 nominations under its belt. Also earning NAACP nods is Pariah (seven nominations), Jumping the Broom (six),  The First Grader (three) and Tower Heist (two).

Viola Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sofia Vergara, Mike Epps, Emma Stone, Terry Crews, Vanessa Williams, Maya Rudolph and Malcolm Jamal-Warner are just some of this year’s nominees.

The 43rd Annual NAACP Awards is set to air live on Friday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
