Monique “Mo” Jackson and Kita Williams, from VH1′s The T.O. Show, have officially launched their new line of Define Your Pretty products.
Define Your Pretty, a non-profit organization, was established to educate and empower young women across the board on the value of respecting and loving themselves from the inside out. The campaign also encourages an in-depth analysis of how women are portrayed in the media, which has been a hot topic since the Basketball Wives franchise came on the scene.
“Pretty isn’t just about the visual aspects…a lot of young girls don’t understand that. Define Your Pretty means you define pretty by your own standards. You can be pretty talented, pretty creative, pretty smart…Once you define that from the inside, you can use the Define Your Pretty Collection products to gloss yourself up on the outside,” Kita Jackson explains.
Some of the products included in the Define Your Pretty Collection are, a limited edition ceramic flat iron, styling lotion, hair wax, hair gloss, styling spray, lip gloss and a Diva hair wrap with built-in conditioner. All of the products come neatly packaged with the Define Your Pretty logo printed on the front. The collection (shown bellow) has a little bit of something for everyone and the prices are a steal!
As reported earlier, Jackson and Williams are currently headlining the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) 2011 “Empower Me Tour,” which wraps up February 25, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.
