Just when R. Kelly was beginning to rebuild his reputation, the R&B crooner gets hit with a foreclosure suit.

The “When A Woman Loves” singer faces a $2.9 foreclosure on his Chicago mansion, reports Yahoo! Music.

JP Morgan Chase Bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court in June 2011. The lawsuit states that Kelly has failed to make any monthly mortgage payments since June 2010.

R . Kelly’s spokesman, Allan Mayer, declined to comment on the foreclosure. However, Mayer did tell The Associated Press that Kelly does not have any financial issues.
