Rub You The Right Way
by: Alisha Tillery | Jul. 06, 2007
Slap it up, flip it, rub it down, oh no…oh yeah! BBD has the right idea — at least the rubdown part.
Once reserved as a luxury for the well-to-do, professional massages are finally considered a well-deserved treat for the rest of us holding down jobs, families and fabulous lives. Now sessions with a masseuse have become long-standing appointments in our monthly regimes. The spaaaahh treatment not only makes us feel like pampered princesses, but also serves as a form a therapy. According to the American Massage Therapy Association, regular treatments reduce anxiety and promote a relaxed state of mental alertness.
Massages at professional salons and spas can run anywhere from $40 to $200, depending on the type and the duration. On a romantic vacay? Try a hot-stone massage. Personal trainer kicking your butt? Go for a deep tissue or Swedish. Remember to arrive early to prep for your session and be sure to communicate with your masseuse. Do you want to go in the buff or do you prefer to keep your bra and panties on? How much pressure is too much?

Yes I would like to comment on this article, what about the women that are juggling family, work etc. and just cannot afford a meisly $40.00/ month, I know its a shame but there are alot of females out there in this situation, Can you reccommend any schools that do massages at a lesser rate in the Tidewater Region in Virginia. Thanks from all the women out there that are afraid to ask such a question.

Love your article Alisha. I will put those links to good use! Everyone should take time out of their busy schedules to treat and pamper themselves!
