Your boss gave your office rival the promotion you wanted and now she’s your supervisor.
Your live-in boyfriend just told you — two days before Valentine's Day — that he’s moving to another state, to “find himself” and you need to vent. You discovered the most beautiful body bronzer and you’d like to share it with your cinnamon–skinned sisters. BLOG ABOUT IT.
Blogging or cyber-journaling is a growing phenom that's quickly changing the climate of the web and media world. It's most commonly used for moment-to-moment, personal entry and can be an effective way to job hunt, tell a story, gossip, and even soapbox. For decades, therapists have suggested journaling to enhancing one's mental state.
Blogging has also become a popular medium for writers, both amateur and professional, who are hungry for an audience. A study done by The Pew Charitable Trusts, showed that, “Eight percent of Internet users, or about 12 million American adults, keep a blog. Thirty-nine percent of Internet users, or about 57 million American adults, read blogs – a significant increase since the fall of 2005."
Blogging can be therapeutic. It allows you to vent to the world — literally — and inspire discourse without boundaries. Consequently, it can also help you avoid the occasional breakdown or tearful tirade. So before you get the guts to storm into your boss' corner office with a pointed finger and a flurry of French, try typing away your frustrations instead. Blogging is cheaper than a therapy session and a prescription for anti-depressants.

This was a great article and you are so right! I started my blog last October and I'm addicted. All of those thoughts I wanted to get out, I did.
