On Friday, The Dream (excuse me, Terius Nash) released his new video, “Long Gone”. The track is from his recently released 10 track free album, 1977 that he released underneath his birth name. In the song he sings, “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. Another day with you is just another f*cking day. Somebody please tell me what to say. Or is it okay to feel this way? Because I don’t know about us anymore,no matter what my mouth may say. I don’t know about us anymore but, laying beside you suddenly feels strange.” The award winning singer-songwriter seems to carry his fans on a continuous tirade about his love life. You can’t help but, to think that each album he drops is about his most recent ex-wife. Even if it isn’t you’d want it to be.

“Long Gone” could very easily be about either Nivea or Christina Milian. Regardless, it’s a great song about a love that’s long lost. I can’t help but, love the way he sings long gone. He puts an emphasis on exactly how long the love has been gone.
