Can Diggy Simmons sing?

Eb The Celeb & Diggy Simmons
A little birdy told me that Diggy Simmons can sing just as well as he can rap. Then, I was magically put in a situation where I heard a little snippet of him singing and the birdy did not lie. But, when I had the chance to sit down and talk to Diggy about his singing, he would not budge. Just when I thought labels weren’t developing artists anymore, here comes Diggy. His team has been doing an amazing job with him and his flow has grown tremendously since his mixtapes. His voice has changed and, on top of that, they are giving him the best of the best media training —  you will see in the video below how poised he is and how he refused to give up any information about his singing. So much for my exclusive right?

When I talk about singing, I’m not talking about that emo mess that Drake does, or that auto-tune infused mess that Kanye West does. The kid sounds really good and hopefully you all will get a chance to hear it soon enough since his debut album is expected to drop before the end of the year. An album in which he tells me is “spectacular.”

With us hitting the 10-year anniversary of Aaliyah’s death, we also talked about his favorite Aaliyah songs, being a second-generation hip hopper, and his upcoming Scream Tour with Hamilton Park, Mindless Behavior, Jacob Latimore, The New Boyz, and the OMG Girlz. (See tour dates below.)
