Penelope & Monica Cruz for Mango

Penelope and sister, Monica Cruz will be designing a 25-piece collection including accessories for Mango. They will also be the new faces of the Fall/Winter 2007 ad campaign. The line will be larger than the one Jovovich-Hawk did for Mango for Spring/Summer which consists of only 10 pieces, the ads will be shot next month by Spanish photographer Nico Bustos. This is Penelope's first shot at designing clothes and she joins a celebrity lineup that includes Madonna, who did a collection for H&M and Kate Moss, who did a label for Topshop. Her sister, Monica on the other hand, already designed a collection of jewelry and handbags for the Japanese brand, Samantha Thavasa. We'll see what they "actually" come up with, or perhaps they can pull a Kate Moss and take stuff out of their closets for "inspiration"...I like Mango so hopefully this will be better than the one Jovovich-Hawk did for them...
