Look how he is working the camera….too cute. I met celeb hairstylist/cutie-pie Q, at a Vixen shoot in March and ever since then he’s been threatening to “weave me up for the summer.” Well he finally did it and I am officially LOVING my new ‘do. I knew it would be fly because I’ve seen Q’s work on a couple Vibe colleagues (I won’t blow them up) and on celebs like Kimora Lee Simmons. The man can do hair. The only issue I’m having is the ITCHING. I’ve had the weave for one week and two days now and it’s getting better but my scalp is still itchy. Even after a thorough washing yesterday. Are there any Vixens out there who have dealt with this? Please hit me back with some advice. In the meantime, I’m going to raid the beauty closet and try out a few products. Look out for my fave scalp soothers in a future issue of Vixen and/or right here. Oh I guess I should welcome you to my blog. I almost forgot that this is my first entry. But I’ve been blogging in my head so it doesn’t feel like it. But actually typing it out and posting it has been fun!
