“I got a bunch of singles that we’re getting ready to throw out in a few seconds,” she says. “We’re going to throw out a few singles first so we can get everybody familiar with my new sound. I have a documentary that I’m going to put out, and that’s going to explain a lot of things where people can stop asking me silly questions and stuff like that. I couldn’t help but to notice that a few of these stops on her tour are at strip clubs. It still must suck to be performing at such venues after almost 20 years in the game. I hope her book deal goes well and she can also find a career in writing, because waxing poetic about the finer points of fellatio is not a good look at almost 40.

For those unfamiliar with this saga, Trina’s husband Gabe was videotaped on Skype having an illicit chat with a woman he met on social media, even going so far as exposing his package. As if that is not bad enough, Gabe had admitted during the first season to engaging in an affair for five out of the seven years they were married.

This is unfortunate that their problems had to play out on national television, particularly when there are children involved. We wish Trina the best during this time.

This Pilar and Deion Sanders divorce gets messier by the second. Somebody’s PR team needs to come and clean this up! In the latest installment, Deion’s alleged sidepiece is taking shots at Pilar via her Twitter account. She made brazen references to her being the “Angelina Jolie” to Deion and Pilar being “Jennifer Aniston,” a beautiful but boring wife.

I wish she was as bold in throwing these obvious punches at Pilar as she was about her wardrobe game. Rayon rouge dresses are not the business, and neither are elastic belts with bows on them boo-boo! If she is busting it open for Deion, we know he hasn’t made much of an investment in her financially.

According to her Twitter page, she is a young college co-ed. I guess you can’t be all the way mad. What else would you expect from a young jawn? Deion needs to do a better job at picking his mistresses!

Everybody and they mama will be going to church this Easter Sunday: the folk that haven’t been to church since Christmas and Mother’s Day two years ago before that, along with the saved and sanctified church folk who make an appearance four times during the week and twice on Sunday. It will no doubt be a show, as we all know Easter Sunday is the time to show up and show out in your best and brightest outfit.

There will be the obligatory assortment of ornately designed hats, periwinkle gators on size 12 men’s feet, white panty hose and patent leather pumps and color blocking attempts gone all the way wrong. Because Easter suits are a source of pride and joy in our community, do your best not to bring disgrace to this Black tradition by showing up to church as an absolute fashion faux pas.

While you are primping with getting your hair done, and finalizing the last details of your outfit, here are four fashion tips to keep in mind.

1. Keep it Simple. I know it’s Easter Sunday and it is the day to look and be your absolute best in celebrating the resurrection of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but even Jesus may be offended by an actual basket on your head. Stick to one hair style, as opposed to trying to have 3-in-1.

2. White panty hose are a no-no if you are over the age of five. In fact the ONLY time they ever look cute is on little girls with ruffle socks and patent leather shoes, with bows and barrettes in their hair . Please don’t commit this heinous offense, and advise the usher board and the deaconesses to do the same.

3.Color-blocking is your friend. With spring in full force, I know Easter is the ideal time to break out your pastels. But yellow shoes, with a yellow dress, and a yellow hat, with your yellow purse and yellow accessories are not poppin’. Try breaking up the brightly monotone theme in your outfit. A yellow dress accented with blue pumps, a cream-colored pant suit with a bold orange clutch bag… See where I am going with this? Break up the colors in your outfit to achieve a more polished and fashionable Easter Sunday outfit.

4. Sure, nail art is a super awesome trend, but you may want to tone it down a taste. There’s no need to have a floral design, some swirls, and butterflies on every single finger nail in addition to your already brightly colored outfit. Again. Keep it simple. Chose one accessory that you want to stand out and work that!

While planned vacations, spontaneous flights and the occasions that you can be in the exact same city at the same time makes for some pretty romantic canoodling, adding spice to the relationship on a regular basis can pose some specific challenges when a continent separates you and you won’t be seeing your baby for two weeks or even longer.

Phone sex over a faulty cell phone connection becomes quite unsexy after a while, the obligatory Skype conversations eventually become mundane and you start feeling pretty icky about putting popsicles in orifices they don’t belong just to outdo your last video call session. Routine bedtime calls about how wonderful your day was spent chasing waterfalls, or how you trekked through the Blue Mountains and played drums with the Maroons while your beloved crunched numbers become, well, pretty damn lame and redundant conversations after a while.

So to add some spice into your long distance relationship whether it’s an international one, or your beau lives in another state these six things may bring the sparkle back.

1. Mail your lover a pair of your panties. Let him know that a special delivery awaits him in his mail box. You’ll want to make sure they are a nice, gently warn pair of your favorite panties.

2. Make him a one-minute video instead of the obligatory Skype date phone call, telling him how much you love and miss him, and send it to his iPhone or email.

3. Surprise visit. Were you supposed to come visit your beau after coming in town for an important conference? Tell him the conference got canceled and you won’t be able to make it, but arrange a surprise for him anyway.

4. Replace those obligatory phone calls with sporadic flirty text messages that don’t require a response. Change it up, nobody likes the same thing all of the time.

5. While sexy photographs are also nice, get some pictures of you and your beau together and make a photo collage or put it in an album to send to him. Frame some of the best ones for him to put on the nightstand or on the refrigerator in his office. You want to make sure that he is reminded of your face at integral points throughout the day.

6. Does your beau like one of your homemade dishes in particular? Do you bake a peach cobbler better than his mother? Do an overnight rush delivery of his favorite pie with a simple love note attached.

Rapper T.I. and Tiny’s daughter of a previous relationship recently celebrated her Sweet 16. It was a party fit for a princess. The parents spared no expense for the OMG girl on her special day. Rapper Diggy Simmons was in attendance, Justin Combs, as well as a a slew of other celebrity teenage kids. Ms. Zonnique even scored a Porsche from Papa T.I. But her surprises didn’t stop there! Apparently, Tiny tried to pull strings to have Rihanna make an appearance at her daughter’s birthday bash, but her schedule did not allow her to be there. For whatever reason, the tides have changed in your relationship. Whether she broke the #1 girlfriend rule, ‘besties over testes’ or maybe you went off to college and your friend stayed home to go to nail school and now when you come home to visit it seems you have less in common. Or perhaps, one of your friends has wed, and has less time to devote to your friendship that once had you two joint at the hip like Frick and Frack. Whatever the case may be every person is not meant to be in your life forever. But every person does come into your life for a reason, and if you are in tune, there was most probably a valuable lesson that was derived from your former friends presence in your life at a particular time.

But there are those instances in which some type of trust was broken or there have been repeated infractions of disrespect. In such cases addressing the situation head on can be tricky, but must be done. While some people are confrontational, others may be a bit more mild mannered. So, pick your poison. You may want to address the situation over dinner, through a letter or an email, or a simple phone call. However you decide, keep it classy and try not to result to childish antics and foul language and simply voice to your friend your disappointments. Also, keep an open ear, because you may not be above reproach in the way that you have handled the friendship either. However, if you feel the friendship is irretrievably broken you should express that and move along without bad mouthing your former homegirl, even if she did do some foul shit. The high road is always best.

It can be painful to lose a friend, but be thankful for the times that you were able to share, and the good memories that were formed, and simply keep it pushing. God is only making room to bring more blessings into your life after he finishes pruning your tree.
