Known as the world’s premier jeweler, Tiffany & Co. is at the heart of every woman’s being. We’ve all been enamored by the vault-like chamber of precious gems the luxury retailer houses like a kid in a candy store, better yet Holly Golightly while indulging in her breakfast.
But most importantly, this year is a dynamic one for the company as one of the house’s designers of 40 years, Italian model turned jewelry designer Elsa Peretti, celebrates her long standing tenure with the speciality jeweler. Vanity Fair took to their feature stories to share Peretti’s growth within the company, accounting for nearly “10 percent of Tiffany’s annual billion-dollar business,” according to the magazine.
Elsa is nothing short of exceptional and extraordinary as her craftsmanship is sophisticated. Most notably, she has designed Tiffany’s most iconic and popular piece, The Open Heart necklace. The necklace signifies classic beauty and has captured the hearts of women for decades.
Happy 40th Elsa and Tiffany and Co! Keep on designing pieces that we women all over the world swoon over.
