Fresh off the much hyped Jay Z diss in ”Draft Day” , Drake slows things down with “Days in the East.” The YMCMB rapper has officially released the romantic slow-jam after performing it during the final stop on his “Would You Like A Tour?” tour.
Continuing the OVO emo trend, the PARTYNEXTDOOR and Noah “40″ Shebib produced song sounds like an ode to new girlfriend Rihanna. The lyrics feature cryptic messages about how sprung he might be over Rih Rih (“Those nights when you need someone else call me over”), a few shots at ex Chris Brown (“Told you about giving him chances and chances and chances”) and conversations about love with Erykah Badu.
