The African American students of Harvard University recently created a project that delves into their unique experiences as part of the University’s student body. The group project, called ‘I, Too, Am Harvard,’ is an effort to speak up as the voices that often go unheard on campus and to promote a new play that will be taking place on campus grounds this weekend.
“The #itooamharvard photo campaign is inspired by ‘I, Too, Am Harvard,’ a play based on interviews with members of the black community exploring and affirming our diverse experiences as black students at Harvard College,” reads the campaign’s description.
I’m sure many of us can relate to some of these statements, and it’s inspiring to see these students step up and speak out.
