Looks like VH1’s ratchet reality empire is getting bi*ch slapped with a $50 million copyright infringement lawsuit.
The prosecutor, 8th Wonder Entertainment, claims that they submitted a script to VH1 for a show called Hip Hop Wives that was set to star Chrissy Lampkin, Swizz Beatz’ ex-wife Mashonda Tifere and ex-wife of DMX, Tashera Simmons.
According to legal documents, Vh1 held a pitch meeting and the show was given the green light, but the details of the script and the stars were abruptly leaked to Mona Scott-Young.
The production company is accusing Mona along with VH1 of stealing their idea for what is now the Love & Hip Hop franchise.
Scott- Young, Vh1 and Viacom are among the names in association of this massive lawsuit.
