Nicki Minaj fired off machine guns and 3-minutes worth of N-words when she dropped her scathing, anti-lame anthem “Lookin Ass Niggas.” But backlash didn’t lurk too far behind as what seemed to be the single’s artwork surfaced with African American icon Malcolm X on it. The Young Money rapstress took to Instagram Thursday (Feb. 13) to explain her side:
“What seems to be the issue now? Do you have a problem with me referring to the people Malcolm X was ready to pull his fun out on as Lookin Ass Niggaz? Well, I apologize. That was never the official artwork nor is this an official single. This is a conversation. Not a single.
