Looks like Nas is going to be ruling the small screen world soon! XBOX Entertainment is reportedly working on a half-hour series loosely based on Esco’s life in the 90′s.
Tentatively titled “Street Dreams,” the show will take place in Nas’ native Queensbridge and explore his life, music, family and the ups and downs of his career. It is being spearheaded by Electric City Entertainment’s Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell.
In related news, 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s classic debut album, Illmatic.
