Dance Theatre of Harlem

Dance Theatre of Harlem turns 45 years old this year!

This year, DTH’s annual Vision Gala theme is “Live The Moment” with Billy Joel as Honorary Chair and Patti Labelle as the Arthur Mitchell Vision Award honoree. The celebration falls on February 25th,  just two months before their NYC season begins April 23 and continues through April 27.  The six performances will be housed at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, where the company will premiere 3 new pieces of work and revisit some oldies.

Founded by Arthur Mitchell and the late Karel Shook, Dance Theatre of Harlem is one of the oldest ballet-based companies that cater to multi-cultural dancers. For more information on attending the Gala or tickets to the show, visit their website at www.dancetheatreofharlem.org.
