We know him as a comedic thespian, but Jonah Hill’s roles as of late have garnered him A-list attention and two Oscar nominations, including one for his work in Wolf of Wall Street. While most actors would clamor at the chance to work with legendary film director Martin Scorcese, we doubt few established ones would take a pay cut for that priviledge.
According to The Howard Stern Show Twitter account, the Superbad actor did just that, making only the SAG minimum ($60,000) for his role as stockbroker Donnie Azoff.
“Now on H100 @jonahhill tells @howardstern that he did the 7 month ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ shoot for $60,000 because he wanted the role so bad,” says the tweet.
Looks like the sacrifice paid off. Vixens: would you have done the same thing?
