Writer/director Mark Harris will join the company of other great black films with his new movie, Black Coffee.
The “first black comedy of the year” follows Robert–played by Darrin Dewitt Henson–a man having the worst day ever, as he loses his girlfriend and job simultaneously. With the help of his best friend Julian (Christian Keyes), the down on his luck guy will reinvent himself both professionally and romantically. The movie also stars Gabrielle Dennis, Lamman Rucker, Erica Hubbard, and Tiffany Hines. It opens in 8 select AMC theaters (Atlanta, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Chicago) on Jan. 10.
