Plan B

As some of you may know, Plan B is used as an emergency contraceptive usually taken up to 72 hours after intercourse to prevent pregnancy. It is widely known and commonly used in younger women. Apparently there’s more to the drug that many of us don’t know. According to the European manufacturer, the pill is completely ineffective if you weigh over 176 pounds. It also begins to lose ineffectiveness in women who weight more than 165 pounds. Although Norlevo is a European drug it has “a dosage and chemical make up identical” to some of the commonly used Plan B pills sold over-the-counter in the U.S which includes Plan B One-Step. How do you feel about this new information? Is that even a “normal” weight for your average American female? You better inform your friends before they waste $50!
