These days twitter is the official place for slander, so it’s uncommon when someone uses it for good, but McKinley Freeman stumbled upon a threshold of creative inspiration. Outside of acting, the Hit The Floor star is an avid writer. In order to keep his writing up he plays a ‘word game’ in which in less than 5 minutes, he writes an original poem from a word given to him.

One night he introduced this exercise to the cyber word and within 2 minutes of asking for one word he received over 300 words. Inspired immensely by the first 10 random words that were tweeted, he wrote his first book of poems. His twitter followers helped create @McKinleyFreeman Volume 1 poetry book which is now available via iBookstore and Amazon Kindle for $3.99.

Vixens if you love poetry this is a refreshing book to try.
