Vibe Vixen snagged the first inside look behind the scenes at the Tadashi Shoji show. Minimizing and modernizing were the two big M’s of choice for today’s show. Whether it be the effortlessly powdered skin and barely visible eye make up or the simple necessity of creating movement in hair for that “street glam” look, Tadashi Shoji showed us less is indeed more.
Starting the backstage access journey Vixen met up with Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes of Butter London. Greeted by smiling faces and beautiful bottles of polish Hughes explained the inspiration behind the look. “We were inspired by liberation and empowerment; the collection allows women to assert confidence with femininity as illustrated through soft delicate materials. We used ‘Yummy mummy’ with ‘Hen Party’ layered on top, and a matte topcoat.”
