The season finale of R&B Divas: L.A. may have left the cast divided, but the show must go on. During a recent interview with CNikky.com, Kelly Price revealed that she and a few of the ladies from both the Atlanta and L.A. casts will be hitting the road for a tour.
“Faith Evans, myself, Brownstone, Dawn Robinson, Keke Wyatt and Chante Moore! And I know that it raises questions but, you know, again I will make this statement, she said. “People are trying to make a television show. If there was a danger of anything happening to Chante Moore being in the same intimate space with me, we would not be going on the road together. And Miss Moore did agree to come on this tour.”
As for the rest of the ladies, Kelly insists that selecting her tourmates was the promoter’s call and had nothing to do with drama stemming from the show(s).
“That is the promoters call. There are people who back the show and they put the money up and it is 100% their call.”
If the rumors are true, Lil Mo may be busy planning a joint tour with frequent collaborator Ja Rule.
“Ja Rule and I were the ultimate Queens, NY blend because Brooklyn was winning USA. We were number one so many times that people thought it was a conspiracy. Correction, it was chemistry! I am totally and humbly ready for round two!,” she confessed to Always A List.
