Posted by on Aug 2, 2013

Whether it was her butter-smooth voice on “Sweet Misery” or her effortless sound on the current single “Afraid,” Amel Larrieux is a fixture in the genre of R&B. Since breaking onto the musical scene in the 90’s with Groove Theory (Bryce Wilson), Larrieux continued to showcase her powerhouse vocals from features to movie soundtracks, and now the “Tell Me” singer is back with her fifth studio album titled Ice Cream Everyday.

Set for release August 27, Larrieux said “there’s something for everyone” on the record, and after seven years since her Billboard chart-topping CD Bravebird,  the “Congo” singer will have listeners grooving to another beat.
