Jay Z may be on top of his game, but trouble continues to plague his business empire. “Hood Love,” a company that works with poverty stricken youth is suing the rapper’s Roc Apparel Group for making profit off their coined phrase. The LLC, who claims to have owned the trademark for seven years, is asking that the shirts be pulled from stores in addition to damage fees.
Looks like the “mo’ money, mo’ problems” mantra is truer than ever.
