With so many voices fighting for your attention, it’s hard to discern which voice you should listen to. It’s most important to engage in positive self-talk. Having an inner dialogue is imperative to not only your success, but your survival and sanity. More often than not situations and circumstances choke the life out of the voice that matters most. Here are a few ways to combat negative thoughts:
1. Know with certainty, that what you say about your life matters most.
2. Take a couple minutes a day to recite positive words about your life—scriptures, affirmations, meditations are all appropriate.
3. Lastly, avoid negative conversations at all costs. Your daily external conversations have an impact on your internal conversations. Proceed with caution.
At the end of the day you have to speak positivity over yourself. Give it a try this weekend. God Bless!
