SWV wants to let you know their love will be on a primetime TV soon. The legendary R&B trio are set to debut Sisters With Voices, a new reality TV series that features six one-hour episodes that chronicle the group’s effort coming back into the music scene.
“The journey of SWV is the kind of real and personal comeback story our viewers love to see,” said Lauren Gellert, WE TV’s senior vice president of original production and development. “These dynamic women experienced enormous success together, then it all fell apart. United again, the stakes are higher than ever, and so—at times—is the drama and tension. We can’t wait to present this fresh, new series to WE TV viewers.”
Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson broke up after ’90s success, then reunited after 15 years with their Grammy-nominated effort “I Missed Us.” Sisters With Voices is produced for WE TV by Entertainment One Television with Kate Farrell serving as the executive producer.
