This year’s Philly Fourth of July Jam lineup echoed America’s early beginnings. Set up in the heart of Philadelphia’s downtown area, a small stage hosted artists from all genres of the music industry. Whether they rapped, sang or played an instrument, all of them came together to put on a show that would satisfy everyone.
Kevin Hart—who celebrated his birthday—was hand picked by The Roots to host the concert in his hometown. In between sets, the hilarious comedian kept the audience engaged with jokes, random appearances by his adorable kids and a “Happy Birthday” sing along Stevie Wonder style.
