The traditional talk show got a facelift this summer with the debut of The Real. Co-hosted by Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton and Adrienne Bailon, the show features all five personalities discussing everyday issues as they relate to women. Love, who gives the multicultural panel its comedic voice, recently dished on working with her co-hosts.
“We have spirited discussions and disagreements, because we come from different lifestyles. But that’s why I think America is like tagging on to us…we’re all ethnic women,”she tells HuffPost Live.
“A lot of people were wondering, ‘why isn’t a white women on?’ Well, we felt like we had some women come on the table and we have guests. But it’s just a different type of feeling when it’s all ethnic women.”
The Real is currently in the middle of a four week test run. Have you watched yet?
