Weeks ago, Jay Z made headlines when he took over an NYC’s Pace Art Gallery for a 6-hour performance of “Picasso Baby.” If you were confused by the entire event, fear not. In collaboration with the same network that premiere Beyonce’s Life is But a Dream, Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film will take us behind the scenes of the unique music experience.
“Rap is thinking out loud. Concerts are pretty much performance art. In a smaller venue, it’s a bit more intimate, so you feel the energy of the people,” the Magna Carter Holy Grail rapper says in a video preview.
