Would you ever be part of a group again?
I wouldn’t say I’ve soured to it, but I do enjoy being a solo artist. There are other perks to being in groups like having the support of someone else if you’re tired of answering questions. But at the end of the day, I’m enjoying being a solo artist.
What can you tell us about the series? Is there something that you learned about yourself that surprised you?
The way that it’s filmed is nothing like you would think. There’s not a camera following you all day, there’s a lot of structure to it. I believe that people are going to be entertained.
And what’s your role on the show in this cast? Are you the peacemaker? The troublemaker?
In this season, I’m more neutral. I try to listen and understand everybody’s point of view, but at the same time I’m not going to take any sides or anything like that. I wasn’t there for some of it because there was an accident in my family that I had to tend to and during that time–that’ll be explained on the show–but during that time, I couldn’t film for about a week. So some drama went down while I was gone that I wasn’t a part of. When I came back I was like, ‘Huh? What happened? I tried to be peacemaker, but it didn’t work.
