Kenya Moore may have celebrity status, but her pockets don’t.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was recently evicted from her ATL home, according to Radar Online. Moore and her landlord Conya Weems have been in a legal dispute regarding unpaid fees. Last month, Weems tried to evict the “Gone With the Wind Fabolous” singer for not paying $848 of her May rent, which led her to default on the terms and conditions of her lease.
“The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately,” the landlord said in her defense.
Kenya denied ever missing a payment and filed a counter suit for wrongful eviction, slander and emotional distress that the judge threw out.
The former Miss USA winner didn’t appear in court to hear the final judgement, but we’re going to safely assume, she got the memo.
