French designer Isabel Marant is taking her talents to H&M for an autumn collection, the retail titan has announced. The creator of the coveted sneaker wedges will pour her personal boho chic style into this hip Parisian clothing and accessories collection for women and teenagers, as well as make her first first foray into menswear.
“The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude,” says Marant. “Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality”
With this new line, the Parisian cool kidult aims to cater to women seeking fashion items to rock daily. “I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy.”
H&M has collaborated with an A-list of guest designers in recent years, including Versace, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney, Marni and, most recently, Beyoncé. ““I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour.”
You can snatch up the Marant for H&M pieces on November 14.
